Job description:

  • Coordinate Monthly Closing Activities across EU – including maintenance of open periods in SAP according to the EU Closing Calendar that is aligned with the Corporate Calendar
  • Act as a first contact for Finance/Accounting to provide system solutions on emerging issues, including liaising with IT on more complicated matters
  • Support EU Accounting/Finance team with developing IT solutions for the implementation of regional / global policies, processes, procedures & internal controls
  • Support the IT Team to implement IT improvements in the ERP system
  • Manage maintenance, changes, and improvements to the Chart of Accounts in SAP
  • Manage and support SAP to HFM mapping issues and reporting requirements
  • Support audit or other regulatory requests (both US GAAP and/or Statutory) by providing requested documentation and/or analysis as assigned
  • Participate in standardization and automation initiatives as part of SME group
  • Ensure operational excellence by executing all tasks with open & transparent communication, providing high quality documentation/deliverables & ensuring appropriate time management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Business Process Analysis, Continuous Improvement, IT Delivery Services or Accounting
  • University Degree
  • General / basic Accounting knowledge
  • Fluent English
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Excel proficiency (VBA experience is a significant advantage)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Preferably experienced in using Office365, Sharepoint, MS Flows, Power BI, ServiceNow
  • HFM (Hyperion) knowledge is a significant advantage
