Global Source to Pay Integration Lead
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Global STP Integration Lead to join our Global Business Services Source to Pay (STP) Excellence Team. This role involves enabling the government portal / eInvoicing solution for agile implementation, along with existing and new solution platforms such as SAP S4/Hana/ECC, SAP Ariba, and Vertex. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, understanding, and delivering legal, business, and operational requirements, and will be involved in the software implementation lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive discussions with local experts to gather and confirm requirements and timelines for country governmental implementation and modifications.
- Explore and identify legal/statutory needs versus nice-to-have needs.
- Understand and drive discussions for end-to-end processes, operating models, and impact to STP.
- Partner with Global/Regional STP Stewards to engage with local countries for requirements gathering and confirmation.
- Collaborate with technical resources (SAP, SAP Ariba, other third-party tools) to drive system requirements and capabilities.
- Partner with third-party suppliers/consultants to collect, confirm, and track local requirements and implementation timelines.
- Document government portal requirements (legal, business, technical) for each country and maintain updates.
- Define use cases, write test scenarios and scripts, manage testing documentation, perform tests, and report results.
- Create training materials and conduct training for internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Client’s responsible teams and subject matter experts (e.g., GBS, Local Finance, IT) and consultants/software vendors to prepare and execute training for suppliers.
- Support and facilitate decisions for the integration model of the government portal and SAP/SAP Ariba.
- Co-plan implementation strategy, activities, and timing.
- Prepare and execute cutover, go-live, and stabilization plans.
- Prepare content for governance meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5+ years of business experience in Purchasing to Pay areas, especially Invoicing, Accounting, Audit, and Tax in a global company.
- In-depth understanding of the portfolio of Ariba solutions (Ariba Business Network, Ariba Buying and Invoicing).
- Good understanding of Invoice to Pay processes.
- Knowledge of indirect tax concepts and differences between inbound vs outbound tax.
- Global, end-to-end process mindset and approach.
- Knowledge of global service delivery operations.
- Experience with project management, product management, and system implementation methodologies.
- Experience working in international sites outside the US for indirect tax operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Self-starter with the ability to stay up-to-date with changing environmental and requirements.
- Proficient with MS Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word, Visio).
- Fluent in English.
