For our client, an international production company with focus on engineering, we are looking for Senior Logistics Expert, who will be responsible mainly for suppliers management. The role is within newly opened Global Centre of Excellence. 

There are two vacancies:

  • One GLOBAL (with 40% of international travels within Europe), where you will be a partner for all plants in EMEA structure. 
  • One LOCAL, where the person will be on-site in Plzeň district. Focus of this role would be a local suppliers management and related activities within CZ plant. You will cooperate with colleague on global role. 

Objective:

  • Responsible for defining & implementing supply chain process standards for EMEA as well as secure high material availability in all EMEA plants
  • Design and build standard processes in the area of supply chain management
  • Implement processes and enable process maturity across all EMEA plants and other relevant interfaces
  • Ensure reliability of the supplier base and a high material availability in all EMEA plants together with purchasing and the plant logistics
  • Ensure the ability to measure process KPI

Scope:

  • Division - EMEA for all plants including component plants

Tasks:

  • Define Business requirements of each E2E process; ensure stakeholder involvement
  • Implement processes together with all relevant interfaces (i.e. plant logistics, purchasing, quality, IT, suppliers)
  • Lead projects incl. project budget responsibilities
  • Carry out logistic supplier audits on supplier site
  • Monitor supplier capacities in order to ensure material availability in the production sites
  • Carry out overarching escalation procedures with suppliers and co-ordinate all activities with relevant interfaces and stakeholders

Skillset:

  • Practical experience in international E2E supply chain operations and with ERP systems preferably SAP
  • Experience in running supply chain projects
  • Fluent English language skills
