We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Construction to lead PV/Onshore projects division. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of construction operations, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in PV and onshore projects, and demonstrate a proven track record in team leadership and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse team of construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Responsible for recruitment, training, and professional development of staff.
  • Manage the end-to-end construction processes for multiple PV/onshore projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, acting as the primary point of contact for all construction-related matters.
  • Develop and control the construction budget, optimize expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met. Provide regular financial reports to senior management and make informed decisions based on financial data.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with project construction. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and direction of the construction division. Implement innovative construction methods and technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or additional certifications in project management or renewable energy would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the renewable energy sector, specifically in PV/onshore projects.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing substantial construction budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a commitment to developing staff.
  • Proficient in construction management software and tools.
