Join our client’s team and take part in supporting financial operations across multiple European markets. We are looking for an experienced accounting professional who will take ownership of end-to-end financial processes in an international environment. The role offers exposure to cross-border cooperation and the chance to contribute to key financial operations at a regional level.
Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end accounting activities within the Accounting to Reporting (ATR) scope.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings and financial reporting.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and perform variance analysis.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax teams.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and internal control standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and regional finance projects.
Requirements:
- About 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proficiency in German (B2 or above) and fluent English – both spoken and written.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (HGB and/or IFRS).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/S4HANA preferred).
- Finance-related degree (CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
