For our client, an international capital group specializing in the trading of energy (both renewable and conventional) on international markets, we are looking for candidates for the position of CFO. The person in this role will play a key role in shaping the group’s financial and operational strategy and managing relationships with investors, banks, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the finance, accounting, controlling, risk, and IT departments.
  • Developing and implementing the group’s long-term financial strategy, including strategies for international market expansion.
  • Managing relationships with investors, banks, and insurance companies.
  • Supervising financial reporting and monitoring the group’s financial performance.
  • Supporting strategic decisions through financial analysis, controlling, and forecasting.
  • Overseeing operational and financial activities related to logistics and sales.
  • Managing compliance processes and internal audits.
  • Actively seeking new development opportunities in international markets, including market analysis and identifying potential partnerships.

 

Requirements:

  • Higher education in finance, economics, accounting, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a CFO or in a similar role in an international organization, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, risks, and regulations, particularly in energy trading.
  • Experience in managing teams and overseeing financial and operational activities.
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, and insurance companies.
  • Proficiency in English (the working language is international).
  • Analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on development and international market expansion.
  • Experience in managing currency risk will be an additional asset.
