For an international medical device manufacturer, I am currently seeking a candidate whose primary focus will be providing comprehensive administrative support to the Global Clinical Trial Operations team. This role operates under limited supervision, with general guidance provided on new assignments.
Clinical Operations Support Specialist
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of general administrative duties that may include photocopying, coordinating meetings/appointments, typing, faxing, ordering/maintaining supplies, arranging travel, preparing and/or sorting mail.
- Serves as a point of contact for internal customers.
- Inputs data into assigned systems.
- Performs quality checks on functional work, as assigned.
- Answers functional questions that may require additional research and follow-up.
- Viewed as key functional resource for a variety of tasks and projects.
- Anticipates and coordinates projects/assignments, organizes own schedule, to meet deadlines.
- Creates documents (letters/memos/presentations, etc.) using existing material; ensures document is logical and complete as well as accurate in grammar and spelling; makes suggestions for improvements in existing communications.
- Manages work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals as appropriate.
- May assist with essential regulatory document collection. Responsibility may grow with over time.
Employer requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Fluency (written and spoken) in English, and Polish. Additional European languages would be beneficial.
- Ability to multi-task: support several studies and/or personnel simultaneously, work in a very fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and possess clear, concise communication & presentation skills – written and verbal.
- Must be comfortable interacting with clinical research site personnel via phone, email.
