Role Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Engineer with a specialization in GoLang to join our cybersecurity team, based in Kraków. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining GoLang software development, especially with open-source software. Your daily duties will include collaborating with the product owner and development lead to design, develop, and deliver software solutions that meet stakeholder requirements. You will work closely with cybersecurity experts to refine requirements and propose new solutions to enhance the security of our banking systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for adhering to design and development patterns, identifying bottlenecks, and improving software development efficiencies.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in supporting, maintaining, and contributing to open-source software.
- Extensive GoLang software development experience (4 or more years).
- Strong skills in software debugging and root cause analysis, with experience in developing solutions for software bugs.
- Proficient in writing technical documentation and root cause analysis reports.
- Experience with software best practices, including unit testing.
- 2+ years of software development experience with Python, using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience with data pipelines in Python, using libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and tools such as Airflow, Luigi.
- Experience in delivering software solutions to end users.
- Experience with Message Queue systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong understanding of microservice architectures and concepts such as CQRS, SAGA, and event sourcing.
- Experience in building and deploying services to containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in building and deploying services through CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
- Strong sysadmin skills in Linux and a solid understanding of computer systems and networking.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with branching strategies such as GitFlow and Trunk-based development.
- Good understanding and experience in frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong SQL programming skills with the ability to construct complex queries.
- Experience with automated test case development (unit, integration, functional, and non-functional tests).
- Knowledge of agile and DevSecOps delivery processes in a regulated environment, with comfort using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
