We currently have the opportunity to appoint a ESG Group Director for our Client. This is a challenging and demanding role which will offer the successful candidate not only a rewarding and extremely satisfying career, but also an opportunity to progress in the future. In the role you will  works towards finding new, innovative and economically reductive ways to stay green and sustainable.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide industry insights and experience in the domains of sustainability and social development
  • Identify opportunities for value creation based on deep understanding of organization challenges and opportunities
  • Build and communicate organization's sustainability strategy
  • Monitor the legal status of implemented standards around ​​company sustainability and implementing them into system documentation
  • Track, prioritize, administer, and report on energy savings initiatives. Identifies and leads sustainability related projects and initiatives aiming in CO2 emissions reduction, water conservation, waste generation reduction.
  • Create documents related to system of sustainability and for audits or external control purpose
  • Prepare and conduct trainings in the field of company sustainability
  • Acting as a single point of contact, the candidate will work with the company ESG leadership team, Net Zero PMO,  contract team to manage the Decarbonisation and Sustainability programme reflecting targets, compliance with governance standards and regional policy frameworks UE

Skills Required:

  • Masters degree in a subjects such environmental science, energy management, climate change, sustainability or equivalent through experience
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of standards in the field of sustainable development
  • Experience of working with GHG disclosure programmes such as SECR, CDP,  ESRS, IFRS, and GRI Standards
  • Experience min. 5 years in related position
  • Technical competent in understanding complex problems, think strategically and identify sustainable solutions
  • Creativity, analytical approach to problems
  • Having the qualifications of an internal auditor in the area of ​​sustainable development will be an advantage
