For our client in the financial industry, we are currently seeking a Team Leader for the Fund Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage a team of 10 Fund Accountants.
  • Provide technical and specialized support to the team.
  • Day-to-day supervision, management, and final review of NAV calculations and financial reporting.
  • Develop and enhance team workflows and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Fund Accounting requirements and adherence to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and Risk to efficiently manage controls and mitigate potential risk areas.
  • Manage and supervise the team daily, distributing and overseeing day-to-day tasks.
  • Monitor all internal and external audits, ensuring receipt of a clean report.
  • Address queries and requests promptly, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Establish strong contacts with various departments and levels within clients' organizations.

Requirements:

  • Min. 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or fund accounting, including at least 1 year in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in managing people, demonstrating the ability to delegate tasks and foster commitment among team members.
  • Knowledge and experience in alternative funds and private equity fund accounting.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Ability to identify, propose, and implement enhancements to existing processes.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
