Fullstack Engineer (Java, Javascript)

Are you looking to make a real impact in a global financial project? We are working Fullstack Engineer to join our Clients team.
The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:
- Work within a team of 4 – 6 people.
- Take a business requirement, divide it up into stories and deliver each story iteratively to production.
- Product support is integral to the role – “you build it, you run it”.
- Identify areas of technical debt, ensure a healthy balance of tech debt and new functionality is prioritised and worked on.
- For new items you need to design the solution and ensure that it follows technology guidelines and constraints.
- Pairing with other members of the team.
- Collaborating closely on a daily basis with other teams in various locations globally.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of programming in multiple programming languages
- At least one language at ‘expert’ level
- We predominantly use Java, Javascript (client & server)
- Experience with Unix
- Experience and knowledge of HTTP APIs e.g. RESTful APIs
- Knowledge in cyber security space and vulnerability management
- Understand databases from a consumer point of view and a good understanding of howto setup a relational database
- CI/CD and DevSecOps experience
- Experience in Cloud development (GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.)
