Industrial Engineer
We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer to join their team on a 1-year fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate production processes to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to reduce waste, leveraging lean management techniques.
- Develop and execute improvement plans, such as time and motion studies, to enhance resource utilization and productivity.
- Manage and oversee improvement projects aimed at optimizing quality, costs, and delivery performance.
- Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement corrective measures.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to uncover areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with departments like production, quality, and logistics to align and streamline workflows.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new production lines or modifications to existing systems.
- Provide training to employees on lean methodologies and process optimization tools.
- Create and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), for improved workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive supply sector.
- Fluent English (C1)
- Strong understanding of lean principles, including tools like 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Proven ability to analyze processes and implement effective optimizations.
- Familiarity with production planning, logistics, and supply chain operations.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as MS Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Project management experience is an advantage.
