Land Acquisition Specialist/Manager
International developer operating in over 10 countries, specializing in renewable energy projects, with a focus on wind and solar farms, as well as energy storage facilities. Committed to sustainable development, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Land Acquisition Specialist/Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential land parcels for wind and solar farm projects, as well as energy storage facilities.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective sites, including legal, environmental, and regulatory assessments.
- Negotiate land acquisition deals with landowners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Collaborate with legal and environmental teams to navigate regulatory processes and obtain necessary approvals.
- Maintain strong relationships with landowners, local communities, and relevant stakeholders.
- Stay informed about market trends, zoning regulations, and other factors affecting land acquisition in the renewable energy sector.
- Provide regular updates and reports on land acquisition progress to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in land acquisition for renewable energy projects, with a focus on wind and solar farms and energy storage facilities.
- Strong understanding of legal, environmental, and regulatory considerations in land acquisition processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, international team environment.
- Familiarity with local and international zoning regulations and permitting processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
