Land Specialist/Manager – PV/Onshore/BESS Projects
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Land Specialist/Manager to oversee land acquisition and management for PV onshore wind, and BESS projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in securing land rights and ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify, negotiate, and secure land agreements for PV, onshore wind, and BESS projects.
· Conduct due diligence on land titles, ownership, and legal encumbrances.
· Liaise with landowners, legal teams, and local authorities to finalize contracts and resolve issues.
· Coordinate with project development teams to ensure land acquisition aligns with project timelines and technical requirements.
· Ensure compliance with environmental, zoning, and planning regulations.
· Manage and maintain accurate records of land agreements and associated documentation.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in land acquisition and management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
· Strong understanding of land use policies, permitting processes, and relevant legislation.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
· Proficiency in GIS mapping and land assessment tools is desirable.
