For our client in the automotive industry, we are seeking a talented and motivated Legal Counsel. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Luxembourg, and candidates must be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of legal topics, including commercial law, data privacy, intellectual property, employment law, corporate governance, competition, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review general terms of business and commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
  • Oversee and resolve claims and disputes, ensuring effective coordination and supervision of external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Offer guidance on applicable laws and regulations to support the organization in compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Play a key role in developing and implementing corporate and compliance policies, ensuring they align with legal standards and organizational goals.
  • Provide specialized advice on export controls and sanctions related to embargoed countries and individuals.
  • Conduct internal training sessions for key stakeholders to enhance legal awareness and compliance.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in an in-house legal department.
  • Language proficiency in German and English is required.
  • Knowledge of Czech, Slovak, Polish, French or Spanish is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and functions.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented and adaptable approach.
  • A collaborative team player who is assertive and proactive in their work.
