Accounting Manager with German ( Accounts to Report department)
About the Role:
As an Accounting Manager with German language skills, you will be responsible for the accurate completion of the Books of Accounts for assigned entities, ensuring adherence to ERP and consolidation tool close schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles. You will ensure proper documentation before book closure, align on one-off items and contentious accounting issues prior to signoff, and follow balance sheet review cycles with appropriate substantiation and reporting of exposures.
You will coordinate with Centers of Excellence (CoEs), such as Intercompany and Cash/Bank, to resolve entity-level accounting matters. Your responsibilities will include performing controls attestation within compliance tools, managing statutory audits for the relevant entities, and supporting other audits, including tax, transfer pricing, or audits initiated by regulatory authorities.
Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), contributing to the development of SOPs for new business lines, and translating organizational objectives into actionable plans will be key to success in this role. You will also lead a team of at least 10 members, ensuring strong coordination within the team and with other stakeholders to support seamless operations.
