Senior Buyer
location : Mielec
We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for procurement, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization. If you have a strong analytical mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and a desire to grow in a dynamic environment, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:

Initiating and coordinating supplier change processes.

Negotiating annual steel purchase contingents for plants across Europe.

Preparing and negotiating commercial agreements related to direct production goods and services.

Contributing to our environmental policy through carbon footprint reduction

Optimizing expenditure levels for plants located within the EMEA region.

Identifying and mitigating risks within the supply chain.
Your Profile:

Higher education, preferably in technical or economic fields.
-
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.
-
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Excellent command of the English language.

Independence and strong organizational skills.

Highly developed analytical abilities.

Strong interpersonal skills (communication, negotiation).
-
Category B driving license.
-
Availability for domestic and international business trips (approx. 30% travel).
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of negotiations, commercial law, cost analysis, and market trends.

Experience with SAP and procurement platforms
-
Basic understanding of working within a dispersed team.

Fundamental knowledge of fixed cost impact on the company’s P&L.

Experience in the automotive industry is an asset.

German language proficiency is a plus.
