For our client, an international manufacturing company, we are currently looking for candidates to join the General Ledger department to support increased workload during a transition peak period.
Senior GL Accountant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the company’s General Ledger (GL)
- Preparing annual financial statements and cooperating with auditors
- Preparing monthly reports for the group (in accordance with IFRS)
- Performing SOX controls
- Overseeing the circulation of accounting documents and reconciling balances and turnovers
- Maintaining the fixed assets register
- Coordinating and supporting the work of other accounting teams
- Cooperating with the external tax department regarding tax declarations
- Collaborating with other departments across the company
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree (or secondary education) in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Practical knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work well in a team
- Accuracy, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
- Communicative level of English
- Experience with SAP is a strong advantage
