Senior Project Manager - Renewable Energy (PV/Onshore/BESS) - Poland
Our client, a leading renewable energy company operating in Poland, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the development and execution of PV, onshore wind, and BESS projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the identification and assessment of potential project sites for solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS installations;
- collaborating with stakeholders to secure necessary permits, land rights, and regulatory approvals;
- conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate project viability;
- developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards;
- coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget;
- managing project finances, track expenses, and report on budget performance to senior management;
- maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, landowners, and utility companies;
- collaborating with engineers and consultants to optimize project designs, maximize energy output, and minimize environmental impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, business administration, or related field;
- proven experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on renewable energy projects;
- strong understanding of project development processes, including site selection, permitting, and regulatory compliance;
- excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders;
- fluency in English.
