For our client we are looking for a Technical Buyer (IT Software & HR)

 

 

You're a perfect candidate if you have

  • B2/C1 level of English
  • Strong experience within our categories (IT Software & HR) (3-5 years)
  • Good knowledge of Coupa (Source-to-Pay tool, ideally with involvement during the blueprint and implementation phases.)
  • Skills in purchasing: negotiation, supplier management and procurement

  • Dutch language at communicative level
  • Higher education within business related field
  • Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems) and proficient Excel (pivot tables/vlookup)

Your future tasks would include:

  • Represent the Sourcing department in the indirect spend area in the country, providing support to all sites (including Services IT division), advocating procurement and demonstrating added value for the company. Implements purchasing processes / changes within group.
  • Support Global Category Managers in the local implementation of global initiatives.
  • Manage all indirect spend, looking for both short term opportunities through spot buy reduction and long-term opportunities through strategic sourcing exercises.
  • Partner with stakeholders and maintaining a proactive approach to ensure sourcing early involvement in new projects, proactively assessing new opportunities, and ensuring the smooth local implementation of global projects.
  • Develop strategies and tactics – together with the business - to give our company a competitive advantage in either technology or cost.
  • Prepare and run tenders for the categories in scope, dealing with all relevant stakeholders (service providers, internal customers and cross functional teams).
  • Generating revenue through productivity initiatives, rebates and contract signing bonuses & build and maintain Supplier relationships with the objective of reducing costs, eliminating inefficiencies throughout the Procurement Cycle.
  • Perform contract completion, contract management, and supplier management for products and services (incl. driving contracts and price negotiations).
  • Run strategic projects (with global scope) as required.
  • Have an active role in the implementation of Coupa and continuous content management post-implementation (identifying opportunities, building up strategic relationships with key vendors, continuously assess opportunities to expand geographical coverage and product portfolio, leveraging economies of scale opportunities while guaranteeing optimum quality and lead time, etc.).
  • Operational procurement activities such as Purchase Requests review, Purchase Order issuance, following up on open Purchase Orders, resolving any invoice issues directly related to the Purchase Order, reports creation, request vendor creation / adaptation, etc.
