AR Accountant with Dutch
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the main contact for customer AR issues and ensure effective communication (phone/email) across markets.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy in customer records.
- Monitor overdue payments, handle disputes, and support dunning processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Operations, Commercial) and external partners.
- Generate financial reports and analyze AR data to support process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with credit terms and internal financial controls.
REQUIREMENTS:
- min. 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance-related role, ideally within a Shared Services or BPO environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a proactive, win-win mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; experience in data analysis is a plus.
- Ability to understand business needs quickly and act in an agile, solutions-oriented way.
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) will be an advantage.
