Change and Configuration Manager

Location: Kraków (hybrid)

Client’s profile: A worldwide leader in providing cutting-edge and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive industry.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with configuration management plans.
  • Implement configuration management processes.
  • Identify configuration items, create product structures, and define system release configurations.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to establish configuration item reviews and configuration baselines.
  • Support project leads in setting up initial project infrastructure.
  • Maintain configuration management tools and documentation.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on configuration management status.
  • Oversee product configuration management, ensuring control of configuration items from requirement analysis through to product delivery.
  • Execute internal and external change management activities.
  • Manage all change management activities within the project.
  • Make decisions on change requests and track them through resolution.
  • Communicate change request status and ensure closure of requests.
  • Participate in internal and external international project teams.
  • Support production during the integration phase.
  • Review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of processes.
  • Conduct process audits and drive continuous process improvement.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in systems engineering.
  • Experience managing engineering products.
  • Knowledge of EIA-649C, A-SPICE, and related processes.
  • Understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle systems, their operating modes, and system trade-offs.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, electric motors, and controls is an asset.
  • Proficiency in tools like Polarion, JIRA, or similar.
  • Understanding of how engineering interfaces with other organizational functions.
  • Experience with engineering management, effort estimation, and work tracking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Ability to coach and foster a team-oriented approach.
  • Global experience working across regions and cultures.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
