About the role
For a multi-country business unit operating in an international environment, we are looking for a Cluster Finance Director who enjoys being close to the business — and to the people behind it.
This is a hands-on finance leadership role with real operational ownership across three countries. Beyond managing numbers, the role is about understanding what drives performance, supporting decision-making and working in close cooperation with colleagues and business partners.
The position is part of the cluster top management team, contributing actively to both financial results and everyday business discussions.
What you will be responsible for

End-to-end financial ownership of the cluster, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital

Active involvement in daily financial operations with a strong hands-on approach

Budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecast processes in an international, matrix environment

Providing clear, practical financial insights that support business decisions

Driving process optimization and operational excellence initiatives

Ensuring a solid control environment, risk management and compliance with internal policies

Managing treasury and cash positions in line with internal guidelines

Acting as a trusted finance business partner for country and cluster management

Participating in selected discussions with major international clients when financial or commercial topics require finance involvement

Leading and developing an international finance team of 8 colleagues across three countries
What we are looking for

At least 7 years of experience in finance, including minimum 3 years in a finance leadership role

Strong and practical IFRS knowledge

Experience in international organizations with matrix reporting structures

Proven operational finance background with P&L responsibility

Experience in leading teams across different locations

A natural business partner mindset with strong cooperation skills

Someone who communicates confidently, enjoys dialogue and feels comfortable working with various stakeholders

Background in large service organizations serving multinational clients is a strong advantage

Fluent Hungarian and English (written and spoken)
