We are looking for a person for the position of Finance Manager for a production and sales company.

Location: Poznań

The company is currently undergoing intensive changes and needs an expert who will supervise them from the financial side. In this position, you will cooperate with business and other departments, participate in top management meetings, work on process efficiency, establish KPI's, and be responsible for continuous improvement. 

In this role, it's important that you not only manage processes but also engage in operational work. Due to the specificity of the company, we are looking for a person with experience in an international corporation, with a controlling background. 

Responsibilities

Controlling and Reporting: 

  • Coordinate monthly closing operations for sales and manufacturing; ensure accurate financial reporting 
  • Manage annual budget process, forecasts, and analyze P&L and balance sheet variations 
  • Conduct day-to-day management control tasks, financial analysis, and implement improvements 

Accounting and Audits: 

  • Manage team in Poland, talent development 
  • Identify and resolve accounting issues, optimize admin processes 
  • Monitor tax and regulatory reporting, liaise with tax consultant 
  • Support internal and external audits, maintain relations with Auditors 

Processes and Systems: 

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations 
  • Participate in finance-related projects, propose automation improvements 
  • Define strategies for financial goals, monitor performance indicators 
  • Manage IT processes and serve as proxy holder  

Other: 

  • Provide financial support for investment projects 
  • Monitor sales and support function performance 
  • Manage inventory health of Poznan operations 

Reguirements

  • Master o ra business school degree in Finance (Economics, Business Engineering or Finance Management) 
  • Successful experience in a similar position, in an international industrial company, of at least 3 to 5 years is required 
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, as well as proving to be skilled with all modern IT - tools 
  • Solidtechnicalskills both in accounting (Local and USGAAP), management control ERP, and office solutions 
  • English –advanced level 
  • Communication, leadership and team-building skills 
  • Able to work cross-functionally and hands-on when required 
  • Traveling abroad should not be a problem for you – est. 10%
