For our client, technology company supported by a venture builder, we are in search of a skilled and seasoned Full Stack Developer to join their team located in Milan.
The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in the development of an engaging online multiplayer game streamed on the cloud (AWS), currently in progress on Unreal Engine 5.1. Responsibilities will include the development, implementation, testing, debugging, and integration across the entire stack, with the ultimate goal of delivering exceptional experiences for users worldwide.
Key Objectives:
- Collaborate across the full stack, including server-side logic, database integration, and API development, to create scalable distributed solutions that enhance user experiences.
- Develop new features and infrastructure to meet evolving business and project needs.
- Lead new projects from inception to deployment.
- Ensure optimal application performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining high standards for code quality and application design.
- Adhere to SDLC best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Unreal Engine Developers, Game Designers, and Artists, to implement and optimize game features.
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, from design to deployment.
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scalability.
- Demonstrate proactive and self-motivated behavior, with excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Requirements (Essential):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
- Experience in developing web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React, Node.js, Next.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with high-traffic systems and scalability challenges.
- Familiarity with server-side technologies, databases, RESTful APIs, and Git version control.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience in unit/integration testing.

- Interest in learning new tools, languages, and workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with C++ coding.
- Familiarity with relevant AWS ecosystem.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine projects and Pixelstreaming.
- Previous involvement in developing multiplayer game back-ends.
- Previous experience with immersive virtual reality projects.
