Role Description

We are seeking a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our Client based in Kraków. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the migration of data and analytics to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Ali Cloud, as well as advancing DevOps and Automation strategies. Key responsibilities include automating the continuous integration and delivery pipeline, collaborating with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, and providing comprehensive support to DevOps teams. The role requires ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives for software solutions. The engineer will also design and implement GCP components, maintain the GCP framework, and ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

Requirements

  • University graduate in IT or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT organization within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Proficient in core Python programming.
  • Strong Unix and Shell scripting skills.
  • Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Gradle, and Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud architecture, specifically GCP.
  • Proficiency in RHEL 7.x administration, Bash/shell scripting, and Python development.
  • Experience with Hadoop/Spark and automation toolsets like Airflow, Terraform, Ansible, or Saltstack.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
