Project Manager – IT Infrastructure (Cybersecurity)


📍 Location: Kraków (6 times per month in the office)
💰 Rate: 160–180 PLN/h B2B

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our client from the banking sector in delivering infrastructure and cybersecurity-related initiatives. This is a great opportunity to work in a global environment, managing complex projects that contribute to the security and resilience of IT systems.

 

🔧 Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading infrastructure projects focused on secure development environments. You will work closely with cybersecurity teams, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of initiatives that enhance the organization’s ability to detect and manage vulnerabilities.

You will coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure alignment with security standards and business goals. The role requires strong organizational skills, technical awareness, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, and resource needs
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and development areas
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID)
  • Track progress and prepare regular status updates for senior stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Support continuous improvement by participating in retrospectives and implementing lessons learned

 

🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Solid experience in IT project management, ideally in infrastructure or cybersecurity domains
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or hybrid)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
