RTR Team Leader
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing a team of RTR accountants with varying levels of expertise.
- Assign tasks, delegate projects, and balance individual workloads effectively.
- Oversee daily operations, including month/quarter/year-end closings, ensuring high-quality accounting services.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members, identifying development needs.
- Define and monitor internal controls and KPIs, understanding their impact.
- Perform and approve closing tasks, reconciliations, and analyses according to group schedules.
- Provide backup support to other RtR team members when needed.
- Collaborate with the CI Team to identify automation opportunities and maintain existing processes.
- Identify and suggest process improvements, contributing to global process standardization.
- Cooperate with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain and update process documentation (Process Maps, DTPs).
- Foster strong relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively while managing stakeholder interactions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of end-to-end general ledger processes and experience in Banks and Treasury areas.
- Experience in managing a team of accountants with varying levels of expertise.
- Ability to assign tasks, delegate projects, and balance individual workloads effectively.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to defend ideas and solutions to an audience.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Finance.
- Experience in Treasury Management Systems (preferably Integrity) and familiarity with the Blackline system is an asset.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Fluent English knowledge, both written and spoken.
