For our Client's team, new Shared Service Center located in Wrocław, we are looking for looking the candidates for a role of (Senior) PTP and (Senior) OTC Accountant.

What our Client is looking for:

  • Peferred Education: Higher education in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar position (AP / AR / PTP / OTC )
  • Knowledge of English at an advanced level (B2/C1) - prerequisite
  • Experience in working with SAP
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in transitions and optimization of accounting and financial processes
  • Analytical but also interpersonal skills
  • Openness to business travels during the transition process (Europe)

Responsibilties in PTP:

  • Establishing and enforcing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Conducting regular audits
  • Analyzing and reconciling accounts payable ledgers.
  • Reviewing and approving invoices and payments handled by the team.
  • Preparing and evaluating financial reports related to invoice processing and payment functions.
  • Working with other departments to address and resolve invoice processing and payment issues.
  • Communicating with senior management.
  • Contributing to developing and implementing initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supporting in preparing budgets and forecasts concerning payment activities and invoice processing.

Responsibilities  in OTC:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to the order to cash process to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Reviewing and approving customer master data, invoices, and cash applications processed by the team
  • Conducting periodic audits of order to cash procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Analyzing and reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports related to order to cash activities
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve issues related to order to cash activities
  • Providing guidance and training to junior and mid-level staff
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Communication with senior management regarding the status of order to cash activities and any issues or concerns
  • Leading process improvement initiatives to streamline order to cash procedures and increase efficiency
