The role of Assistant Vice President is based in the Global Finance Centre in Kraków, Poland. The centre is supporting the development of the businesses across the European region. The centre covers all financial functions including Business Fonance. Financial Control and Systems. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Prepare of regulatory reporting returns (CCR RWA, Leverage Ratio, COREP, PILLAR 3) within the scope of the local reporting to the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel / European Central Bank, Banque de France and consolidated reporting to to the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) for HBEU and Group in a timely mannee and to a high standard.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders across business, Risk and Finance on RWAs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of European Banking Authority (EBA), QIS and Climate stress testing returns for the bank.
  • Ensure excellance in reporting and answers to ad-hoc regulatory requests.
  • Support the delivery of the Regulatory Reporting transformation initiatives including strategic business decisions and mandatory regulatory changes.
  • Delivery impact analysis requested within the context of Basel 3 reforms or other initiatives like model changes and new products implementations. 
  • Support business transformation on strategic projects. 
  • Drive continuous improvement by suggesting ideas and supporting delivery of optimisation and improvement of regulatory reporting processes.

 

What you need to have to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience preferably in regulatory reporting or similar experience with strong knowledge of Basel regulation, RWA risk types, internal models (IMM).
  • Deep knowledge of the CRR, especialy in the area of Counterparty Credit Risk (SA-CCR, IMM) and Leverage Ratio reporting.
  • Experience in working in a regulatory reporting production enviornment, i.e. preparing regulatory returns like COREP templates, EBA QIS / Stress testtemplates, Pillar 3 disclosures.
  • Strong analytical skills to perform impact analysis on RWA and the delivery of granular data excerpts.
  • Experience in deliver (regulatory) change: preparing functional requirements, UAT activities, new product prodess activities.
  • Experience in SQL and VBA to maintain, update and creat end user computing applications and to perform ad-hoc data analysis  would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong ability to anticipate, identify and mitigate risks and apply appropriate controls.
  • Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of French is nice to have.
