We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Consultant to lead the creation and setup of a new branch for a company. This role is critical to ensuring the successful establishment of the branch, including all aspects of human resources management, organizational design, compliance, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR practices, strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate complex organizational environments.

This is a 6-month project.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Branch Setup Planning - collaborate with senior management to understand the strategic goals of the new branch.
  • Develop a comprehensive HR plan for the branch setup and internal and external communication (HR knowledge base).
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices for the new branch. Adapt and implement compensation and benefits programs, payroll (clearance slip vs. outsourced finances), training and development policies, home office policy, health and safety regulations. Ensure the branch’s HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Establish systems for maintaining employee records, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Liaise with legal and compliance teams to address any local regulatory requirements.
  • Implement HR systems and tools necessary for the efficient management of the branch.
  • Ensure smooth integration of branch HR systems with the company’s central HR systems.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 10 years of experience in managing HR.
  • Proven experience in setting up new branches or departments.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
