About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Finance Risk & Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to play a key role in strengthening the first-level control (1LOD) system across our Asset Management business in both France and international markets. You will collaborate with internal teams across finance, risk, and management control, as well as with international subsidiaries, to enhance risk management processes and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze the risk mapping process (Risk Control Self Assessment).
  • Review and challenge the control plans within the Finance function.
  • Implement independent tests using a risk-based approach.
  • Strengthen and oversee the Finance control system.
  • Monitor the procedural framework of the Finance function and track related incidents.
  • Follow up on recommendations issued by external auditors and the General Inspection team.
  • Analyze and implement LOD2 KPIs for the Finance function.
  • Act as the local Finance Permanent Controller for branches in the Netherlands and Belgium.

 

Your Profile:

  • At least 5 years of experience in internal financial control, accounting, or financial audit.
  • Solid knowledge of internal control methodologies and financial processes (accounting and management control).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present clear, actionable solutions.
