Job Description:
- Guide and support junior team members
- Lead a team of up to 4 members
- Demonstrate initiative in acquiring new skills such as scripting, algorithms, and data structures
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs within the game engine software
- Customize programs and game engine functionalities as needed
- Actively contribute to designing solutions and improving workflow efficiency
- Contribute expertise to shape the final game product
- Collaborate on game mechanics and gameplay enhancements
- Stay updated on emerging technologies
- Coordinate with other departments as necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of programming experience
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Prior experience in game development
- Demonstrated expertise in algorithm design, complexity understanding, and software architecture and design
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pluses:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Art, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in launching and supporting live products
- Familiarity with console development
