For our client, a global company specializing in manufacturing of raw materials, we are looking for an Operations Manager. We are seeking someone who is well oriented in a local South African market, specifically Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
• Supervising the implementation of the established strategy
• Co-creating strategies, goals, and development plans
• Building and managing a team of people
• Representing the Company in negotiation processes with clients and suppliers
• Creating periodic reports for the Board
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical thinking and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of tools and methods for optimizing business processes
• Managing the budget of operational departments
• Monitoring key performance indicators as well as financial and operational results of the company
• Controlling expenses, and managing costs within the organization
• Identifying potential threats, risk management, and monitoring compliance with legal regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
• Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes
• Proficiency in the English language - professional fluency
