Position: Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Location: Warsaw

Industry: banking

For our client, an international company from the banking industry, we are looking for a person for the position of Regulatory Reporting Specialist. You will play a critical role maintaining the integrity of the financial system of the Bank. Being a core of all banking activity, it’s a prestigious role due to its vast outreach and associated responsibility.

You will join the team situated in a modern office in Warsaw’s city centre. You can expect close collaboration not only with your immediate colleagues, but also external parties and institutions. It’s a complex position with broad range of assigned and ad-hoc responsibilities, giving you opportunity for personal and professional development.

Responsibilities:

· Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting to the National Bank of Poland (NBP) such as FinRep, MonRep, NB300, BOP, calculation of Obligatory Reserve and others, in a timely and explicit manner;

· Ensuring all regulatory reporting adheres to procedures and meets current and future regulatory requirements;

· Reconciling various databases ensuring adherence to data quality;

· Preparing correspondence to NBP/KNF, including necessary corrections and adjustments;

· Monitoring regulatory changes of reporting scope, making necessary changes to system procedures;

· Actively participating in the Month End Closing process in tight cross-border collaboration with the Group;

· Building and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

· Revising processes and implementing improvements, to increase the efficiency of regulatory reporting processes in the medium to long term;

· Interact with developers in IT, setting requirements and tests for solutions covering the future regulatory environment.

Requirements:

· At least 5 years of experience in accounting or regulatory reporting area;

· Proven communication skills, both verbal and in writing, with the ability to present findings and outcomes in a clear, concise, and approachable manner;

· Advanced Excel skills, being able to navigate and produce necessary documents without supervision;

· Flexibility and openness to change, being able to adjust to them quickly and effectively;

· Readiness to be physically present in the office in Warsaw 3-4 days per week;

· Fluency in Polish and English, both in speaking and writing;

· Experience with regulatory reporting platform vendors is an advantage.
