For our Client we are looking for a team member with experience in Tax Compliance, i.e. calculation of taxes and submission of returns (VAT, CIT, Intrastat). Responsibility for handling EMEA companies in terms of preparation and submission of VAT related returns and JPK files. Knowledge of SAP4HANA would be your strenght.
Your responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of VAT and ESPL returns for EMEA countries
- Preparation of Intrastat returns
- Calculation of advanced CIT payments for various EMEA entities
- Reconciliation of VAT and CIT on balance sheet accounts
- Calculation and reporting of withholding tax
- Active participation in the process of closing reporting periods (month, year)
- Handling internal, external and tax audits including responding to inquiries from internal customers and tax authorities
- Supporting tax projects within the organization
- Supporting transaction processes to ensure their compliance with established standards and deadlines
Our requirements
- Higher education in the field of finance, economics
- Knowledge of regulations in the field of accounting and tax law, including knowledge of VAT regulations (CIT would be an advantage)
- Min. 3 years of experience in tax department
- Experience in work related to VAT or CIT reporting
- Knowledge of SAP S4Hana would be a valuable asset of successful candidate
- Experience in multinational corporations would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and especially MS Excel
- Ability to learn quickly and analytical skills
- Good English command, min. B2 level
