Solution Architect
Role Purpose / Description
- Establish strategic technology roadmap that meet business development plan
- Manage relationship with key stake holders in Business/IT/external parties
- Provide IT solutions to business requirements whilst aligning to IT strategies and standards
- Work in agile / devops environments
- Manage/support/develop a team of digital solution architects
- Facilitate sharing and alignment of knowledge & best practice with IT areas
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
* 7+ years software development experience for back-end applications
- Excellent at data structure and algorithms, and be able to write codes and solve puzzles in a short time.
- be able to write codes and implement some Proof of Concept(PoC), to demonstrate solution feasibility and assess solution performance.
- Familiar with security, and know what, why and how for authentication & authorization.
- Familiar with Java, Spring MVC, and Sprint Boot.
- Familiar with Redis, Kafka, Oracle, and Mongo DB is a plus.
- Familiar in API design, review and construction, e.g. Swagger UI
- Familiar with Docker image and Kubernetes, with hands-on experiences.
- Have willingness to act as technical architect to resolve engineering issue, define clear role & responsibility for each component for specific project.
* IT architecture experience in financial industry is a plus
- Experience in strategic planning on IT application/technology roadmap
- Preferably with experience in development and project/people management roles
- Experience in development and support of mission critical business applications a plus
* Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
- Ability to explain complex technical solutions to audiences at different technical knowledge
- Ability to articulate business case for IT investments to business
- Build relationships with senior/key stakeholders rapidly
* Sound knowledge of Fintect and innovative technologies, design patterns and keep abreast of latest technology trends
- Experience in designing complex distributed / service oriented / micro services style and cloud based systems, with focus on scalability, maintainability and extensibility
- Experience in designing integrations between different systems, working with different teams and driving an agreement on the technologies and methods to use
- Practitioner of agile methodologies
