Team Leader in Accounting area

 

We are looking for a Accounting Team Leader with English (nice to have is additional language as German or French)

This is a local role based in local Shared Service. The role presents a great opportunity to be part of a Finance HUB and it will offer exposure across our global business and will provide opportunity for growth and development.

Accountanting Team Leader is a finance professional who has a clear understanding of accounting processes in the Organization and their source transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be leading the accounting processes for multiple business units in multiple jurisdictions
  • You will act as a subject matter expert in regard accounting queries for your team, 
  • You will be responsible for team recruitment, performance management, and individual development 
  • You will be leading your team, motivating, supporting and coaching on a daily basis to 
  • The role requires hands on approach and involvement in daily operations (50%)
  • You will act as the key contact point for escalations
  • You will be driving continuous process improvement and highest service standards
  • You will business partner with business units

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent: ACCA / CIMA) 
  • General accounting background with at least 5 years of experience
  • At least 3 years in people management roles
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Knowledge of French or German would be an advantage
  • User of ERP preferably SAP 
  • IFRS general knowledge
  • Proven track record in implementing process improvements
