Artur Skiba wins Vectors 2020
The tradition of Employers of The Republic of Poland proved to be stronger than the pandemic. As every year, vector statuettes ended up in the hands of the Laureates. In this edition, the award was awarded to the Chairman of the Board of Antal - Artur Skiba. The awards gala had a hybrid setting due to sanitary restrictions. The ceremony was broadcast live on the internet.
Vectors are awarded to people who, by their activities, in various areas of the economy indicate exemplary directions of conduct, are the authors of innovative solutions, especially valuable for the Polish economy and social life. Vectors are also awarded for activities that bring special benefits to the Polish economy and create a climate conducive to the development of entrepreneurship.
In this year's edition, the prizes were awarded to 7 winners. Jakub Swadźba, co-founder and Chairman of the Board of directors of the national network of medical laboratories DIAGNOSTICS Sp. z o.o. received the first statuette of vector. The next vector went to Jerzy Starak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Polpharma S.A. and Polpharma Biologics Group. The third award was so special that it ended up in the hands of two laureates – father and son. It was received by Andrzej Hass and Aleksander Hass, owners of Hass Holding. The fourth laureate of Vectors 2020 was Fr. Prof. Dr. Stanisław Dziekoński, academic teacher of cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, rector of the university in the terms of 2012-2016 and 2016-2020. The fifth Vector was received by Mariusz Gatza, now Chairman of the Board of Orange Moldova SA and previously vice-president of Orange Polska. The last, sixth statuette was awarded to Artur Skiba, Chairman of the Board of Antal Sp. z o.o. The Chapter rewarded him "for the fact that his long and professional activity in the market of recruitment of specialists and managers influenced not only the development of Polish entrepreneurship, but promoted our country as an attractive place to invest and build a career".
