Antal SSC/BPO conducts workshops on CV preparation and self-presentation
Magdalena Kapusta and Liliana Tetlak, experienced consultants specializing in the Antal SSC/BPO industry, decided to share their extensive knowledge with students from two prestigious higher education institutions in Poland. They delivered their presentations first on May 13th at the Warsaw School of Economics, and a week later, on May 19th, at the University of Warsaw.
Secrets of an Effective CV
The first part of their presentation focused on one of the key elements of the recruitment process - the CV. Students learned the principles of creating an effective professional resume and had the opportunity to examine specific application examples. Kapusta and Tetlak also emphasized the value of using social media in the recruitment process, pointing to platforms such as LinkedIn and Golden Line. What particularly captured the students' attention was the debate on the optimal length of a CV and the dilemma of whether to create a standard or perhaps a more creative application document. The discussion was not without questions concerning minor but significant application details.
Masterful Self-Presentation in the Recruitment Process
The second part of the training was devoted to skills in presenting oneself during a job interview. The experts focused on ways to deal with typical, as well as more challenging, recruiter questions. They discussed how to prepare for such a meeting, what questions to anticipate, and how to effectively handle uncomfortable topics and stress. Students received practical tips and answers to their queries, which will undoubtedly assist them in future job interviews.
