Poznan continues its dynamic development, attracting investors and talents from across the country and abroad. The average score for all indicators for the city reached an impressive 7.5/10 in the latest edition of the BEAS report. Compared to the 2021 edition of the study, this score has increased by 0.4 points. Thanks to a strategy focused on innovation, business support, and developing infrastructure, the capital of Wielkopolska strengthens its position on the map of the most attractive investment locations in Poland.
The fourth edition of the Business Environment Assessment Study (BEAS), created by Antal and Cushman & Wakefield, and partnered with Baker McKenzie, PAIH, Pracodawcy RP, Pro Progressio, and Vastint, reveals the investment plans of business leaders operating in Polish cities for the years 2023-2025. Poland has long maintained and strengthened its position as a leader in attracting investments, both domestic and foreign.
Level of planned investments is rising
The number of investment projects in Poznan is increasing, with a focus on sectors such as new technologies and business service centers. Significant investments in urban infrastructure and the development of the local job market create favorable conditions for new ventures. The city has been identified as a location considered for investment for the years 2023-2025 by 18% of the survey respondents, thus ranking 4th among the surveyed cities.
Poznan remains one of the most attractive places for investment in Poland. The city follows current trends, responding to the contemporary needs of its residents as well as employers. As a strong academic center, it provides access to qualified professionals from various fields. Who will have the best chance of employment in Poznan in 2024?
The capital of Greater Poland Voivodeship has been one of the most important business centers in the country for years. Last year, it faced numerous challenges and changes in employment. The IT sector, SSC/BPO, as well as engineering and logistics, are the industries with the highest demand for specialists in Poznan. Developer activity in the Poznan office market
Despite the growing importance of the hybrid work model, the Poznan office market continues to develop very stably with constant, moderate dynamics. Comparing Poznan to other larger regional cities, stable development seems to be much more important than high growth dynamics. This is confirmed by one of the lower vacancy rates in Poland, which stood at 14.7% at the end of 2023. Students are drawn to Poznan
Poznan is a city open to young talents, offering them not only education but also real career prospects. At the beginning of their careers, IT industry graduates can expect a minimum salary ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 PLN gross, while in the SSC/BPO industry it ranges from 5,000 to 9,000 PLN gross, and in the manufacturing and logistics sector from 4,500 to 7,000 PLN gross.
